Hey there! My name's Marisa (she/her) aka Marigold.
I am a sensual mover and enjoy relishing in the body-mind connection that happens when we dance. I love playing with things like touch and musicality and really vibe with movement exploration; I believe it's important that we all move with authenticity and honesty, and discover what makes our dance feel good.
I have been dancing since April of 2018 and love the way dance makes me feel - free, sensual, and indulgent. I find joy in moving my body in ways society tells us not to.
You can look forward to slinky sequences, seamless transitions, and plenty of playtime in my classes. I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment that encourages exploration and vulnerability. You can look forward to a nonjudgmental, stress-free environment tailored to help you grow as a dancer.

Marigold is an excellent instructor! This was my first ever Zoom pole class and I didn’t know what to expect, but she was tuned into demonstrating each move of the choreo and even made sure to watch those of us on camera to ensure we had the moves down! I struggle with learning choreo quickly, but felt like I was keeping up due to Marigold’s attentiveness and clear instruction. I also loved the prompts Marigold gave, as it challenged me to add more flavor to the already beautiful, dynamic low flow combo. I’m looking forward to doing more drop-ins and I highly recommend class with Marigold!
